All you guys need to go to my blog at http://www.military-history.us and hit the floating Google +1 button on the left side. Then maybe I will start ranking higher in search results.
I know that Google doesn't let you +1 your own site, at least if you have your site linked to your own profile with them. I've know – I've tried it before.
I know, that is why I want you guys to do it, but only if you like it of course. The more I think about it, soliciting +1's is no different that the tons of spam promising 1',000's of backlinks for SEO.
I wanted to +1 a particular post (the one on the Nazi symbols on the keystones) but I guess it only allows general +1s for the entire blog. So that's what I did.

I have a plugin that is supposed to allow that but it does not work quite right and I cannot figure out what is wrong with it. I am probably going to try a different plugin and see of that works.
