Remains of three Templar Knights was found at a fort on Madeira, along with a carefully-protected nail which dates to the 1st or 2nd century A.D.  The inference made here is that the knights may have perceived it to be a relic, such as one of the nails used on the crucified Christ.  An interesting find, indeed.Nail from Christ's crucifixion found?
