I'm getting down to the end of the semester – a paper due Monday and another due Tuesday, and a presentation (25+ mins) on Monday. Oh, and I have to prepare for my own class lectures on Monday and Tuesday as well. Anyone else about ready to turn some research papers in for the semester?
I'm not in school now, but I'm proofreading my collection of short stories. I hope to contact the publisher soon, but it's strange that proofreading can be more draining than writing. What are your papers about? Will you post them here?Good luck on your presentation.
Thanks – good luck to you as well on your short stories. I'm doing one paper on a pair of Renaissance statues on the Ponte Sant'Angelo in Rome, and another paper on a Byzantine fresco (14th century) in a church in Istanbul. I don't normally post my papers here for a few reasons, but I wouldn't be opposed to posting an abstract here and there.
I am finally officially starting my thesis class to finish my MA. I will probably not be on as much over the next few months as I think my thesis is going to be a time hog. If all goes well, I will be finished in February and then no more school for a while at least. It is going to be a juggle between finishing my thesis and doing all the admin stuff I have to do to finalize my retirement from the Army.
Finished my Western Civ II paper on V.I. Lenin last week and my last paper for American National Government on various issues of the Obama Presidency. Final in ANG next week and this term is finished! About a month hiatus and then back to it!
Notch, I'm sure it feels nice to get it done. I have one more paper to finish up by Friday, and I have to administer an exam that same day. No matter how often I tell myself that I want to start early on my papers each semester, it always seems like I'm working on them until the very end. 😮

That is me... I actually had all my resources ready to go in preparation for my paper a couple weeks prior to the class even starting, and I still didn't get it done until just about the last minute...So much for teaching an old dog new tricks! ;D
Just finished my last paper a few hours ago, printed it, and turned it in. Then I had to run off to administer a test for my class. I was up until 7 a.m. this morning….I don't really like doing that….but it worked in the end.
