KeymasterAs you probably noticed, some boards/topics have been emptied. Fear not, the posts are not gone, but they have been moved/consolidated so boards encompass larger bits of history and are less-narrowly focused. My reasoning is that it will give more life to the forum and will make it look less “sterile” since we won't have boards dedicated to areas of history that are less popular here. Narrow topics which are popular here (e.g. Civil War) will retain their own boards in some fashion.I also plan on adding at least one off-topic board, and I may make some other changes (which I will announce if I implement them). Consider this my bold effort at reviving the forum.

ParticipantDoes anyone even read these news blurbs anymore? Not sure that they do. They may be superfluous.
news blurbs: I still look at it (even if I've long given up to find the "menu du jour") and I think it can be useful especially for visitors or new members

ParticipantBtw as PRISM experts 8), how do you insert video or image or a weblink without using the “hyperlink” function only? :-[

ParticipantI believe videos are disabled right now. Probably lost the ability with the forum upgrade and or the new theme.

ModeratorMaybe that's all for the better because then nobody can post lame 80's music videos (which is of course something I'd never do 8) )

KeymasterYou should be able to post YouTube clips here using the HTML tags.

ParticipantI generally use the YouTube generated embed code within the HTML tags and it works fine. An example is: (replace the parentheses in the html tag with square brackets)
(html)(/html)
That is the code I used below.

ParticipantI just saw that members have “credits” and there is a shop now … (although I was not allowed to get in) Do you accept credit cards?

KeymasterI accept ca$h only! 😉Actually, I had an add-on to the forum installed and uninstalled a long time ago (probably before you joined). I just recently re-installed it, and the tables from the old database must have remained intact. I'm not sure I'll keep it installed, but I wanted to see if there were any features worth having.
