As you can see in my profile, I added a field where you can indicate which historical period you like. I have the power to add other fields as well – favorite historical figure, favorite movie, favorite gun. It can be an empty text field rather than drop down if you like. I can add something if there's a desire.
Go ahead. You know you want to. (lol)
I can put some fields in as long as they don't appear if a person doesn't give any response to it. That way it would be an optional field, not mandatory.
I think thats a great Idea. Would that help with search engines? say if I put that The Searchers was my favorite movie would that come up in a search?
I don't think it would help very considerably with the search engines. It's more for a show – a way of customizing your profile in an interesting manner. Of course, I don't want profiles to be overly crowded with information. I'll have to see what works and what doesn't.
True there seems to be alot of info now.
I just want my John Browning avatar back. 😥
There you go. It's not easy to find a John Browning image that's free for the use, and here I'm assuming it's a public domain image: John Browning at age 18. Lol, not quite what you were expecting I'm sure, but hopefully you won't despise it too much. Incidentally, I got it from a comic book-like story about John Browning that you (or some of the other NJO guys) might find interesting: http://www.m1911.org/jmbtribute.pdf
It looks like a woman to me, but I digress. 🙂
I had to doublecheck to see if my spelling was correct. I said JOHN Browning, not Jane. 😎
