Have you ever read frankenstein? It is so much different then the movies. In it the 'monster' is a very intelligent and articulated being, even merciful and kind to those he is fond of. Nothing scary about it really. (but niether was the hollywood version)
I have not read the book, but I was just thinking I should do so last night. I think a Gothic tale such as this would be good reading. It's a relatively short read, isn't it?
Yea, I cant remember how many pages, but for a good reader it shouldnt take you too long.
