This is rather….curious:Germans love reenacting the American Civil War
Never heard of that. I have met many Germans who are extremely fascinated with all things American. There is a guy in the town I live in who is ALWAYS dressed like a cowboy. He regularly tries to trap me into conversation since he found out that I grew up on a beef ranch and even had a horse as a kid. I try really hard not to laugh at the drugstore cowboy look this guy has. If real cowboys wore stuff with so much leather tassels they would never get anything done because they would always be trying to to get the their tassels untangled from the bushes and trees. I will have to try and get a picture of this guy.Oh yeah, there are plenty of German WWII re-enactors, they just dress up as Americans. I have only seen two guys dress as Germans from WWII and they were both neo-nazis.
