I am not as sure on it now, but posse comitatus alone is not a major factor. Forced immunizations, domestic surveillance, Halliburton detention centers being built all over the country, FEMA, Homeland Security Act, increased gun control, inventing external threats such as global warming and evironmental consciousness, North American Union, and other things more secretive and subtle are what concern me. Don't get me wrong, both political parties are implementing the drive to the New World Order. There is a Shadow Government that remains constant. The question is, how long before martial law is declared? My guess is right after the first dirty nuke terror attack is made.
Let's overlook the swearing on that thread and talk about posse comitatus. I want to know where this paranoia is coming from. The military commissions act? So posse comitatus has been suspended....yes...on alien enemy combatants...ONLY!! Patriot Act? it's necessary. What rights have we lost because of this Act? Domestic surveillance? Again, what rights have we lost?After Katrina things changed. Yes, because how it was set up beforehand obviously didn't work and Katrina was the first test.
I beginning to believe our political parties are colluding to subvert our Constitution. This is in fulfillment of Revelation IMHO. No I'm not a moonbat. I am just beginning to see incremental power grabs by Bush (being supported by the Dems as well) which are going to jeopardize our liberties down the road. I think this nation is being setup for martial law in the event that we are attacked with a WMD of somekind whether it be a dirty nuke or biological agent. I've read some material and watched some videos that show how America might be the power behind Mystery Babylon the Great. I can't go into this here because it does not fit into the format of Phid's forum. If you want to discuss this further, start a thread at CL in eschatology and I will be happy to discuss it there. 🙂
I moved this topic here since this is more of an informal subject an non historical in nature. Phid you can move it elsewhere if you feel the need.
I'm in agreement with whatever Phid wants to do with this. I put it in Recent American History in case anyone is interested in a discussion about the Patriot Act. I'll wait until Phid decides whether or not to proceed. I apologize if this is the inappropriate forum to discuss this.
I'm fine with wherever. If you want more people to view it and perhaps comment on it, it's fine in Recent History.
