My brother and his wife have a dog named S?ren Kierkegaard (after the Danish philosopher from the mid-19th century). The dog is super friendly – one of the most friendly I have come across. My sister in law just wrote to us and said that they adopted another dog – a pitbull who is 4 months old – and named her Regine Olsen, the name of Kierkegaard's love interest (they'll call her “ROV” for short). Too funny!
Is that big one a rottweiler?
He's a mix of breeds. He does have the same type of markings found on a Rottweiler, and so I was convinced that there was some in him. But I don't think he actually is part Rottweiler.
There has to be some Rottweiler in the woodpile somewhere. The head and jaws bear a striking resemblance.
Is your brother military? Or does he or a friend just like sitting around in the backyard with bloused ACU's and Danners on? I will not share my opinion of what I think should happen to all pit bulls. The bigger one, S?ren I presume, looks a little like a male dog that my father's neighbor has. He doesn't happen to have one blue and one brown eye does he?
No, he doesn't have different colored eyes. I admit that there are a number of dogs that look awfully a lot like him. Scroll down slightly and these two dogs look very similar:http://www.rottweiler-breeders-pictures.com/rottweiler-rescue/rottweiler-german-shepherd-mix.htmlYes, my brother is in military. Looks like he's scheduled to go back to Iraq next year.
