The good news is, because you are with 1and1, I am completely familiar with how you setup your databases through their admin panel.  If you need me to do anything for you, all you have to do is grant me access to your ftp account and I can install any type of software for you and configure it to your desire. 🙂

I will probably take you up on that.  I am going to download the WordPress software and look at it and the manuals for it.  You guys and just about everybody else on the internet says WordPress is the best web buidler software out there.I am not going to be doing much more until the end of August.  I fly to the States Saturday for vacation and wont be back until the beginning of September.  I most likely will not have access at all while on vacation.  One of the things I like about vacation by the way.  I even ignore the news then.
