Heck Donnie, a guy asks for a fish and you give him a shark. He's liable to start going bonkers just trying to understand what the whole “linux” or “.asp” reference is all about. 😉 Actually Ski if you just want to create a page you might look at the free Google web page creators which I think might only be good for non-commercial use but take a look.http://pages.google.com/?pli=1I haven't actually used it but it looks like a "what you see is what you get" kind of designer. It might just suit your needs. You will also need a place to host your page/site once you create it. There are free ones all over the internet, although some if not most come with some sort of advertising they place on your page. I think that Donnie could host your page/site on one of his domains for free since he has like a gazillion megs of space on his account. 😀
😀 😀 That's how I got that white background. I'll just have to deal with it and try to learn Front Page. Phid, Cox gives me a lot of space, so that's not a problem. I'd do a blog, but I want pictures and all that.

If you want something custom that is more involved than you really care to deal with on your own, let me know and I'll see what I can whip up. I wish you already knew how to do everything because I'm going to need a backup at NJO eventually as we get bigger. Right now, only Phid and PLUMBER know how to do what I would need. 😛
Like we discussed on the phone, just go to any html tutorial website and download a cheat sheet for the markup tags. You could be doing standard html markup in a matter of a day or so and as you learn more, the more you can do. The primary things to learn are font/text manipulation, tables, and image manipulation. From there you proceed onto dynamic html which is where you make text and images do neat things. Most of these scripts are available on the web and can be copy pasted onto pages with only minor editing. The final things you may eventually learn will involve content management via PHP and javascript scripting language....but that would be way down the road. I wouldn't expect you to learn that much for what I would need you to do. I would probably ask Phid or PLUMBER to help out with code issues and database managment SQL query language stuff etc....If I really needed something done I can always ask ~A! who is a professional computer programmer. (Yeah I trust him....we're cool now). 😀
