But war has also driven the train on economics plenty of time as well as nations going to war for purely economic/resource reasons. I am not saying that war exists in a vacuum but that war is so wrapped up with every other human undertaking that it is almost impossible to study anything historically without taking into account the effects of war. That is the origin behind my statement that history is war, war has shaped or influenced just about everything I can think of.
In this thread, we discussed people of the Renaissance.What are some of the major wars and incidents? (political upheaval, rise and fall of nations, social issues)I'm asking for a few reasons. I want to know, I'm currently taking a Renaissance course, and I want to get some ideas for a research paper.
So what was the eventual topic of your paper?
I had to drop the class because of some family “issues.” Nothing too bad, it was just disruptive here for about a month.
