January 6 is the 600-year anniversary of Joan of Arc's birth. Sarkozy celebrated it:
France's President Nicolas Sarkozy travelled to Joan of Arc's birthplace in the eastern town of Domremy to pay homage to the Catholic martyr who as a teenage girl led the French army to drive English invaders out of the city of Orleans in 1429.
Given that Jan 6th is also Epiphany, I wonder how accurate her date of birth is or if that is just the “traditional” date?
