ParticipantYou see what he's doing don't you? He's putting in everyone who either ran for President or who is not a part of the Clinton Machine.

ParticipantI'm sure Carter will play a role. Zbigniew Brzenzski (sp?) is his top aide and he was in the Carter administration as National Security Advisor.

ParticipantI love it. It will give all the conservatives a great opportunity to give the democrats the same treatment they have given Bush over the last 8 years. It is obvious that cronyism in the mold of Teapot Dome and Tammany Hall is getting ready to return to Washington.

I think "interesting" is the word. I'm not sure how it will play out, though.

ParticipantI saw a link on Drudgereport.com that the liberals are getting antsy about Obama's cabinet picks. So far he's only chosen moderate to right-of center candidates. It looks like Obama is going to govern as a centrist in his first term (as I predicted he would).

KeymasterAnd if he does, prepare yourself for Clinton II (as in Bill, not Hilllary). Also prepare for a presidency based on poll number policy and focus group decisions.

I can live with that if that's all he is going to do. I do think he will try some bold new initiatives similar to FDR's New Deal, but he won't be able to just ram whatever he wants down our throats because even a heavy Democrat majority in Congress will want to restrain him from time to time just to remind him that he's not the only branch of government. 🙂

Well actually he's putting in everyone from the Clintonista regime....he's buying off his enemies because he knows there's taint out there (Gov. of Illinois for starters) that could come back to haunt him.
