I did not know that this was an unknown location, and I had not known that it may have been found, but here it is:City Of David Claim Reinforced By FindAccording to the article it was found in 2005 though there is no agreement so far as to whether this was really King David's or not.
I figured they knew the location but I didnt know anything was left of it. jerusalem is not that big.
