This had moderate historical significance, I suppose: Last Vietnam-era draftee decides to retireHe didn't actually fight in Vietnam, though, since he was assigned to a job in Germany. Still, I suppose it does signal the end of an era.
It is important because look at how long this man served our country… over 40 years… that is a LONG time to work.. especially in a rpofession such as the military.Hats off to the SGM on his retirement. Job well done...
