This is a pretty neat story.  A watchmaker apparently engraved some words inside Lincoln's watch (unbeknownst to the POTUS) in 1861 at the start of the Civil War, and the story was then passed down through the generations.  It eventually became a kind of legend that was confirmed as true only this week.Secret Civil War message found in President Lincoln's watch, 148 years after it was inscribed
