I waited until I was done with vacation to read this, I am glad I did.  This is a perfect example of what is wrong with this country.  It also lends credence to my assertion that America is one of the least free countries in the free world.  What is the purpose of requiring a street vendors permit other than to generate revenue?  There are way too many bureaucratic hurdles to the practice of free enterprise in America, this is why everyone looks to the government from help.  Ironic, since it is the government that keeps so many from being asble to reach their potential in the first place..
