Medieval battle records go online
The detailed service records of 250,000 medieval soldiers - including archers who served with Henry V at the Battle of Agincourt - have gone online.
A huge undertaking, to be sure. But this kind of effort will undoubtedly benefit scholars of history and other fields for many years.
That is very interesting. I am actually excited to look into this. It will provide an interesting glimpse into the Micro-History of Medieval English armies. Plus, I just find the Hundred Years War fascinating.The actual site for the records is: Medieval Muster Rolls
