    This is interesting:Obama's small donor base image is a myth, new study revealsObviously it's not going to change anything, except perhaps the way the history books about the election are written.

    But the myth worked during the election when it counted.  It highlighted the notion that he was supported by the common man and therfore he indeed had a mandate for change from the people.  The modern media has learned their lessons from Goebbels well.
