    In honor of the upcoming football season:On November 17, 1968, NBC broadcast a game of football between the NY Jets and the Oakland Raiders which was close and did not finish within the expected time schedule.  This led the station to cut off end of the game to broadcast a different show, during which time the Raiders came back to beat the Jets.  What was the show that was broadcast in place of the game?

    Ok, yes – you got it!  It was apparently one of the biggest mess ups in TV history when the game was cut off for an episode of Heidi.
