Son of Civil War veteran takes part in ceremony for re-burial of unknown soldierThe article contains some quotes from a few old guys whose fathers fought in the Civil War. It amazes me that we are really not far removed, generationally-speaking, from the Civil War. I know that the last Civil War widow died only a few years ago.
That is pretty amazing given that it has been almost 150 years since the started. I am also happy that people care enough to see the remains reburied with the respect they deserve.
