My college teacher gave an assignment in which we have to answer two questions about the America during the 1960s in the form of two short essays. The texts are done, but I was wondering if somebody here would be willing to review them and give some constructive critiques before I hand it over to my teacher. Please, post an affirmative reply here and I will PM you the essays.Incidentally, the questions are the following:1. One of the attitudes associated with he United States is a distrust of and resistance to power. Explain how Martin Luther King and the Civil Rights Movement, Malcolm X promotion of Black Power, and the counterculture criticized or resisted power or authority.2.Compared to the Civil Rights movement and the anti-Vietnam War movement, the counterculture does not seem to many people to be a dissent movement. What were the Civil Rights, the anti-Vietnam War movements and especially the counterculture dissenting against? Then, how might we therefore say that the Hippies were dissenters or protesters?
Welcome, Pedro. You should post your answers and we'll critique them rather than answer the questions for you.Good try though
Hi Pedro. Sounds like an interesting set of essay questions.Anyone here specialize (more or less) in Vietnam-era politics?

Actually, what I meant is that whoever is interested in helping me should please post in this topic telling me so that I can send my essay-answer to them by PM. I am doing this because I would rather not post my work on such a public place
PM me and I'll take a look at what you have. I will point you in the right direction if nothing else.
Well I guess Pedro got help elsewhere. Sigh……….
