This kind of talk is why Ron Paul is only on the fringe when it comes to a general election. Obama impeachment a possibility, says Ron Paul I don't understand the uproar over Awlaki's killing and it makes the number of things Obama has done that I agree with go to #2. I don't understand the argument for how the sanctioned killing of a US citizen abroad engaged in treasonous activity is unconstitutional. The only way it makes sense is if you buy the incessant crap about the NWO and Trilateral constantly coming out of prisonplanet and infowars.This pronouncement is another reason to not vote for Paul beyond all his wacky quasi-libertarian ideas on the economy.
I didn't follow the background information very closely, but I saw something on the Alex Jones site where the people there were also calling it a killing of someone exercising free speech.
Somehow, I don't find that actively planning attacks on one's own country of birth and then boasting about it to be an example of free speech. That is the way the Ayn Randites think though.
