In the news there are reports that the D.B. Cooper mystery may finally be solved. Apparently the niece of one “L.D. Cooper” has come forward with some statements. While it sounds convincing enough, one has to wonder whether her memory from her childhood is reliable. http://abcnews.go.com/US/db-cooper-exclusive-niece-provide-key-evidence/story?id=14219052
It will be very interesting to see if they really manage to solve this.
I say unless there is some DNA match this will go unsolved… Next up, Jimmy Hoffa… ::)People just cashing in on the bandwagon... D.B. Cooper makes it to the news with some "new evidence" and all the people with the last name "Cooper" start coming out and saying they are related...Honestly, if you are going to use an alias would you just change your first name? If he really is Larry Cooper or whatever, why would you buy a ticket and change "LArry" to "Dan"?? I think you would probably change COOPER! Duh! So all these people coming forward who think the man who hijacked the planes last name is Cooper should second guess being related to him, because if he didn't change his last name, he was an idot and the apples don't fall far from the tree! 😀

Hadn't thought of it from that angle but it is both true and hilarious.
Well, at least some DNA evidence has fallen short:Washington: New Tip Does Not Lead to D. B. Cooper
