Was the source of the flood that affected Noah something that originated the superlake, Lake Agassiz? So suggests one theory:Noah's flood began in 6,000 BC Canada, created Persian Gulf
Here's a similar article about that same guy, Jeffrey Rose. Saw this a couple of days ago. If the archaeological evidence is plausable, this is a huge discovery.Lost civilization may have been beneath Persian Gulf
I guess at first I didn't make that connection that it was the same guy, but yeah, I saw that article about the Persian Gulf as well. The interesting thing is that that article seems like it has “safe” scholarly conclusions. When I read the article about Noah and the flood, I wondered if they guy would get lampooned by mainstream scholars because of that. In other words, before realizing the two articles were talking about the same guy's research, I thought that the first guy would be taken seriously by his peers whereas the second guy wouldn't be taken quite so seriously. Go figure!
I supposes there is some degree of possibility, but looking at the size of Canada compared to the world oceans, and taking depth into consideration, it just doesn't seem likely. I just wonder if the writer tried to make the connection to draw attention.
