Italian Prime Minister Berlusconi recently called himself the most persecuted person “in the entire history of the world”. Berlusconi 'most persecuted man' That gets me thinking - who has been the most persecuted ever? I think the easy answer is Jesus Christ. But who is next? I think we'll confine this to major figures over the course of time. George W. Bush is one. Perhaps the Rosenbergs? I don't know...it's a hard question to answer.
He's just a cheap imitation of Bill Clinton. 😉
How about Herbert Hoover, he was roundly pilloried for the Great Depression and stock market crash of 29 even though he had almost no control over events.
At the time, of lat he's just made out an oaf (the better to glorify FDR) that bumbled us into the depression. Truly a victim of circumstance.
