So Trump really has wasted no time in following through with his campaign promises. This must be the first time I have ever seen a politician carry out this kind of agenda in such a direct manner. It’s so refreshing to see this happen.
At the same time, it seems that once Democrats realized they were up against a wall, they became like a cat that knows it cannot do anything except arch its back, start hissing, and go into war mode. We are seeing violent protests, vulgar protests, members of the media dropping even the pretense of being objective as they fight in their crusade against Trump. Even Democratic politicians are entering into new territory through their boycotts of hearings and their downright defiance of President Trump. Congressman John Lewis is among the biggest to blame after he declared the Trump was not a “legitimate” president.
What is to come of all of this? It seems like America is breaking apart at the seams.
Along with this, the Calexit movement seems to be gaining steam. Would California really secede from the Union? Although it’s been said that this has virtually no chance of happening, I actually think this would be a tremendous thing to do. Without the slam-dunk Democratic electoral votes in every presidential election, it would be much more likely that Republican presidents could carry victories long into the future.
