Ukraine to open Chernobyl area to tourists in 2011 Apparently the government of Ukraine needs money so they are going to set up a “safe” route through the exclusion zone for paying tourists. I would only go if they have three-headed goats in a petting zoo. ;D
Here's hoping they don't serve food.

I've read that some areas around are totally open, unsecured, and currently used as a tourist attraction !
I have heard that some of the villagers haved moved back into the exclusion zone.

Wow, that is surprising to hear. They must be desperate for money. I would be pretty sketchy about this though. Although I'm kind of paranoid about radiation. I actually almost became an X-Ray Tech prior to deciding to switch to a major in History. I had to do a report on Chernobyl which radiation tends to stick around for a while hehe. I'm with you guys for the most part. I'll only go if there is a 3 headed goat hehe.__________My stupid history professor is making us write a term paper over Christmas Break. Professor Scrooge. Grrrrrrr >:(
