The submarine USS Grunion that was lost in 1942 has been located.http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27006283/?GT1=43001
So did the Japanese sink it or was it an accident?
The Japanese say they did not have anti sub activity in the area at that time"Japanese anti-submarine attack data recorded no attack in the Aleutian area at the time of the Grunion's disappearance"
From the article:"The Grunion was last heard from July 30, 1942. The submarine reported heavy anti-submarine activity at the entrance to Kiska."It seems the last communication from the sub tells a different story...and since they sunk I think theirs tells the what really happened. So IMO the Japenese records are wrong or were intentionally altered.
Wouldn't be the first time the Japanese have done that. they still refuse to acknowledge that they conducted medical experiments on prisoners despite the overwhelming evidence that they actually did.
Someone covering their behind? No! No one does that!
