    I saw this poll about “the greatest mistake in British history”.  Among the choices are the losing of the colonies in America, the appeasement of Hitler, WWI, and more.Cast your vote at http://timesonline.typepad.com/comment/2008/02/the-greatest-mi.html and then tell me how you voted!

    I voted for Geo III and loss of the colonies here… my bias as a Am. History teacher.The poll results are interesting  😮

    While I did not vote, I would say they bit of more than they chew.This could be said of the Romans, and many other old and new world cultures.
