I have lived in weather where when it's bad, it can get to 40 degrees below zero. Now I live in a hot place where it's currently 102 degrees outside. People sometimes try to draw comparisons between the two by equating extremes of hot and cold. But I can tell you, it's far easier to live in a climate which is excessively hot than one which is excessively cold. Yes, it may be 150 degrees in my car right now (I'll know in a few minutes) but at least I won't have to worry that it won't start, or let it warm up for 10 minutes before driving it. It's plain easier to move around in hot weather than it is in cold weather.Just my two pesos... 8)
I like moderate warmth like 75-80. When it starts getting 90+ especially with humidity, that's not so good. But yes, warm is much better than cold.

I went out to my car, which is black, and it had been in the sun all day. My legs felt relaxed – kind of like a sauna effect. I guess that is what happens when you go into super-heated rooms, even if it's in a car on a hot day.Makes you wonder how people managed to survive in the South in the days before air conditioning.
I have been saying for years that Heat is easier to deal with than cold. My wife continues to disagree. With cold, it gets to a point where yo are miserable regardless what you do. I have never reached that point with heat.
