KeymasterI have never been to the Middle East/Asia Minor lands but I would like to visit some day. Obviously, there's some tension going on right now, but eventually, there are any number of towns I would like to visit, if possible. The towns of the Holy Land, mentioned in the Bible, are some such areas. Massadah is another, or perhaps the city of Petra in Jordan. I imagine that there are some ancient port cities along the coast which have very rich histories. Of course, Constantinople is a city that I would also like to visit.

KeymasterI think you're right. Massadah would be very interesting to visit. Amazing what happened there, in terms of the stand-off, the sad end of the Jews there, and the Roman engineering feat of building the ramp leading up to the fortress.

I may be wierd but Soddom (I'm not sure about the spelling so correct me if I'm wrong) and Gomorrah (ditto) always sounded like they might be fun places for a visit, kind of like Tijuana or Subic City in the Philippines. If you don't understand the second reference, talk to some guys that were in Vietnam and pulled R&R in the Philippines.

ParticipantI would like to have seen the promised land when it was still a beautiful place. It seems it has been bombed in to a desert in the last few centuries.

ParticipantI'd like to visit the Garden of Eden, maybe like in week two or three, when things were still new, and Eve hadn't yet put on her fig leaves. Wouldn't you expect the First Woman to have been the most beautiful woman ever created, having just come off God's fresh, new assembly line? And I'd get to see God, too, back in the days when he still walked among his creation, to and fro in the garden.Widow's SonBurningTaper.com

ModeratorIt's crazy, but I'd like to see Baghdad (Babylon). Also Ur is supposed to be in Iraq too. That would be something to see, ancient (Genesis era) biblical ruins.

ParticipantThe ultimate God mode: ... players do not stay in one place, but will go on a quest to go to the Promised Land. Players will lead Abraham?s tribe from Ur to Haran and finally to Canaan...http://thebible-onlinegame.com/

ParticipantTyre during the glory years of Phoenicia. I do not think I could handle the land south filled with raving prophets. 😉

ParticipantJerusalem shotly after the completion of the First Temple. How small such an important city was fascinates me.
