What if the U.S. had not entered WW1? Would the results have been the same? Or would have one of the combatants (Germany or France) have surrendered and the treaty of Versailles(?) would have never happened? And while we're at it what's your opinion of Pershing?
I'm not too familiar with Pershing, but he was one of the most (if not most) decorated American soldier in U.S. history. As for if there had not been a first World War, there might not ever had been a Hitler to rise up from the ashes of the Weimar Republic to do mischief. Colonialism would have persisted far longer than it did because World War II destroyed the European colonial powers.

Yes.? The US Army only entered combat in April 1918 and this in only a small way. The bulk of the American expeditionary force not being commited until September 1918 (six weeks before the war ended). In any case it would not have altered the chance of a future war with Japan.
War with Japan might have been avoided if Japan had no allies like Germany and Italy to give it comfort. Also, Britain would have remained more powerful in Central Asia and Hong Kong as a deterrent……and there might not have been a global economic depression which might have kept Japan from trying to establish a Greater East Asia Cooperative Zone in Manchuria/Manchukuo. If that were to be the case, American shipments of iron might have continued to arrive and ease Japanese anxieties over natural resource imports.

Isnt it amazing how a choice can effect millions for many decades even centuries.
