I went about 15 pages in and couldn't find the same pic either. It's just a guess based on nose size. (a lot of women had big noses back then)
She's holding a book or some writing, her pose and quality image make me think of a daguerr?otype image. However her face features seem a bit masculine : nose, chin, even haircut … What would be important for women's issue during the 19th century… ?? women's rights, murder case, spouse, … ???

If these are the same woman she didn't age well (considering second to be later) or had a good plastic surgeon (if first is later)… I even looked for Sarah Hale. She was close but still not sure, didn't find “the picture”.
