I was reading an article on Tony Blair's leaving and thought the following was kind of funny:
Critics have alleged that the so-called "special relationship" between Britain and the United States was far from an equal partnership when Bush was overheard greeting the prime minister with the words "Yo! Blair" at last year's summit in Russia.
Yeah, the criticism comes from all angles (remember the complaint that W exercises too much?), but I wonder about the people that would make it a point out of questioning someone saying "Yo! Blair".
Maybe it came from an “anonymous” source because it sure seems the Left has a lot of them. :-Remeber the alleged W comment about crapping on the Constitution? It came from a reporter who was told by an "anonymous" person who was allegedly in the room when he/she overheard Bush say that. Yeah...sure. That's about as valid as Libby "leaking" Plame's "covert" status to the press....oops...it wasn't him that did that, but let's throw him in prison anyway. Oy!!
I saw this photo from the G8…you could almost imagine this picture as a promo for some new TV sit-com…maybe something akin to The Odd Couple….one overly serious and the other ready to crack a joke…http://apnews.myway.com/image/20070607/GERMANY_G8_SUMMIT.sff_MOSB123_20070607121636.html?date=20070607&docid=D8PK95100
One thing I see is that Putin's suit is better tailored than Bush's. ;D
You have a sharp eye, Donnie B.
The first photo in this article also looks like it could be used for a comedy promo:http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/article-23401929-details/You're+terminated%3A+Arnie+last+guest+at+No+10+as+Blair+heads+for+Middle+East/article.do
