    As announced on the Interleague Sports discussion forum, I am now an official owner of the Green Bay Packers.Other than (I think) I can move to the front of the line for playoff tickets, the stock is worthless, but it's one heck of a collector's item!!#occupy Lambeau Field

    How much did this cost you, and why would the stock be worthless?  Did you buy it off some guy on the corner wearing a trenchcoat?

    $250.  Purchased it through the Packers website.  They made it very clear it is not an investment stock.

    I'm curious – what exactly did you get for your purchase aside from a piece of paper?

    It's a fan-owned team, and this is how to get in on that.  I am now in all legal terms one of those owners.  And if I put “NFL owner” in my online dating profiles, it wouldn't be a lie.  I can see it now: "OK, OK, I admit I'm not really a 26 yr old, 6'3, 230 lb professional rugby player.  But I do own the Green Bay Packers."

    They probably knew he was going to be a good QB, but I don't think anyone ever imagined he would become one of NFL's all-time best.

    Ah, he's had two good seasons.  To put him on the list of “one of the NFL's all-time best” QBs it a bit premature at this point, IMO.

    It's official! Just got it in the mail today.  Bring on those evil Patriots.  (Although I'd love to see Denver beat them because I'm fully onboard the Tebowmania train now.)

    I buy a not so expensive Green Bay t-shirt off season and they win the Superbowl. I buy an expensive GB sweatshirt from the Packers Pro Shop just before Brett Favre loses to the Giants.  I buy an expensive stock just before Rodgers loses to the Giants.  There seems to be a pattern here.  :'(Think I'm gonna buy some cheap Rodgers and Tebow t-shirts this week.
