I read the book, “Letters from Iwo Jima and I want to see the movie."Pork Chop Hill" - man, I'd forgotten about that one! It's been eons since I've seen it.
Wally, makes perfect sense to me now that I've completed my first semester back after “xx” number of years away from school. And I'll keep that advice in the frontal lobe of my brain in the fall… ;D
H. H., I consider my father a rarity in that he's open to both sides of a topic. Many magazines and newspapers with differing points of view grace his library. His words of wisdom to me have been to always keep an open mind and listen to (or read) both sides of the subject before forming an opinion. At his age – he's in his eighties – he knows a bit more than me.
Don, your post reads similar to my history prof's comments on my essays…”great essay, just expand your writing”…lol…I'm so use to writing business letters that to expand my writing style is difficult. I need to work on this desperately.
In my religion class this semester, we each had to write a 7 to 15 page paper on our religion. At the beginning of the semester I thought this would be a “cake walk”…not so easy, now that I've finished it.
I've been following this situation for awhile, now, and I figured the remains were the missing family members. May put to rest many of the conspiracy theories that have floated around for years. Doubtful, but maybe.
