Inkscape is the best program I have ever used. I have Photoshop and Illustrator, but Inkscape just does what I need it to do in a pinch.
The Second Amendment was put in place for the People in case they needed to resist a tyrannical government period. Owning personal firearms thus is implied by this alone.
I was talking about this at work today and I think principals and teachers should be deputized by federal marshals to openly carry sidearms or have access to them when needed. They would of course receive the necessary training on use of the firearms and take down procedures including negotiating tactics. Gun free zones are magnets for suicidal maniacs.
I'm looking at the legal precedent it sets. If they can ban one firearm related item, they can ban more and more and more. Why make it easy for them to do so if you don't have to? Better to be safe than sorry. Instead of banning any guns they should make them more available and easier to carry openly. That way when some idiot tries what Lanz did, somebody will be nearby with a gun to take him down before the body count gets higher.
Aside from any gun debate, start with making it a Federal crime for any civilian to sell, purchase or own body armor. Only a paranoiac or someone intent on doing great harm would own it.
If you do this you begin the slippery slope. If you authorize the ban on one item, it will lead to more bans eventually to all personal firearms are banned. We can't set this precedent.
I got 8/12 and one of the ones I missed was an all of the above answer that I didn't bother to read all the options on like a dufus.
I fear this event will trigger gun control measures especially when Obama threatens to make executive orders. I also tend to think this is exactly what the government has been waiting for to initiate gun confiscations. I hope I'm wrong.
I'm fine with going to Wikipedia to get a “Cliff's Notes” start on a subject in order to be pointed in the right direction. But that's it.
I haven't had a virus since I started using Ubuntu. I don't use antivirus software either. I do use Adblock Plus on Chrome so I never see popups or ads which probably blocks redirects too I suppose.
Well once again I have to sing the praises of Ubuntu/Linux. I don't have to worry about that nefarious underbelly since they don't waste their time designing their crap viruses for my OS. But as for the spammers, they are hitting CL hard right now. I've fortified my defenses as best I can. It will only hold them for so long. Banning gmail accounts is probably the easiest thing to do, but that's going to prevent some from signing up who use gmail. But I don't care.
Big East Fans is being pounded by spammers today. I'm changing security questions and adding other spam plugins to try and stem the tide.
You've got to be kidding me. They have an automated feature that would feed answers to their spambots? It has to be something like that because most of these spammers are Russian and Chinese.
I firmly believe that 80% of Americans would bow down like sheep. They wouldn't want to tangle with the Federal government. All they want is to watch American Idol and get on Twitter with their Iphones and Ipads. Gone are the days of manly men who would do their duty to restore the Republic. Those days are long gone.
