I was ready to dismiss Sandy as much a do about nothing, but she was as advertised.  What a mess.

Well the liberals in the Northeast need a bath anyway.  Maybe it's a good thing.  Stay safe.

Cult my behind.  I think you are just upset that your'e guy didn't get the nomination.

I think your faith in Romney is misplaced.  You are setting yourself up to be disappointed.

As Governor of MA, Romney had to work with a Democrat controlled state legislature.  If anything, this shows that he can compromise to get things done….an ability that this president sorely lacks.  He and the Lt Gov. collected no salary during Romney's time as Governor.

I don't want to see compromise.  I want to see conservative domination of the government period.  Romney is and always will be a RINO.  We could have had that with Newt Gingrich.Scout Mormonism is a cult, a very large and growing cult, but a cult it is.  It's a very messed up cult at that.

I had to go to work so I didn't know exactly when they turned it back on.

What good did Romney do for Massachusetts?

Well I see it's back on.  Good.  I didn't realize I had not updated my credit card which had expired and was renewed with a different security code.

No matter what you guys think of Obama, I think the man is a good person.  Yes he is a socialist and his views are not good for the country, but he is likable or at least to me he is.  Bill Clinton was said to be likable, but I could not stand that creep.  Obama has never said anything or done anything that has really turned me off like Clinton did.  Romney is a pretty stale guy to me.  I think I can like him too, but he just seems more distant and above the average Joe.  Is it possible to like somebody that is destroying the country?  I don't think Obama is this sinister conspirator out to destroy America, I think he literally believes his social views are what this nation needs….that is sad in of itself.  Maybe I just pity him because he seems like a nice guy who could have been a good president if he left his ideology back in Chicagoland.

The Iliad is my all time favorite story.  I would love to visit the ruins of Troy if they are ever truly found.  Of course there probably isn't much left to see.  Just imagine uncovering Hector's helmet or the armor of Achilles or just any old helmet and armor that dates to about 1200 BC.

    3.  No interest, dividends, or capital gains taxes on people earning less than $200,000 (that is the best idea I have heard out of Romney yet.

No it's a bad idea if it's not across the board for all income brackets.  Selective tax cutting is a Democratic strategy not a Republican one.

Romney is pulling away in the latest Gallup Poll 51%-45%.

I don't think Romney is strong enough for a Reaganesque Landslide.  In fact, I think he could still lose Ohio and the election.  Obama is still raising crazy amounts of money so his support base is still solid.

I see no scenario where Romney wins without Ohio.  He must have Ohio or he will come up short.

Unless something changes, Obama is on weak ground.  But I'm not going to count him out just yet.  Be cautiously optimistic though.

These debates aren't going to sway that many people.  Minds are already made up.
