Maybe we intimidate some of them.  Maybe they think we're a bunch of braniacs LOL.

The only military history I'm familiar with to any competent level is Civil War.  I'll try to get something together for you.

Well it sucks that we haven't had an update on Joshism.  Funny how folks move on without a goodbye.

That sounds really useful Phid.  I could use such a device with all my books I'm about to list on Amazon.com.

Well that's the rub.  I can't advertise anywhere that does Louisville content besides the Courier-Journal.  Rivals and Scout won't let me for obvious reasons.  But I'll deal with that soon enough.  As for what you can write about is Conference Realignment issues if you've been following it.  I can come up with the topics if necessary.  I shoot for 1000 word articles and try to put one out ever few days or more.

We have to make a concerted effort to write meaningful content on each other's sites.  For example, I can post your book reviews on WoH and offer some of my own.  I need some articles on conference realignment on my Cardinals Online site etc….We have to increase the meta data and keywords so that random audiences find our sites on the search engines.  I also plan to start some paid advertising on Cardinals Online at some point as soon as I can find a place suitable to advertise like maybe the Louisville Courier-Journal.  Anyway, this also goes for members here who want their papers published on the net.  Phid you might offer some extra credit to willing students who would like their work published online.  It would give them an extra incentive to work harder and benefit us as well.  You're in a very good situation there.  There are probably many ways we can collaborate.

Donnie,My wife pointed out to me that the cannon on the left is shorter than the one on the right.  I can't really tell but I have learned that my wife has a calibrated eyeball when it comes to stuff like that.

That's impossible.  It's the same image duplicated and mirrored. Or at least it shouldn't be possible.  Heck I don't know.

I knew I was a little off in the height but I didn't think that would matter.  Guess I was wrong oops.

You know now that you mention it, I guess I did make the wheels too eliptical.  The wheels were kinda hard to make.  Inkscape is great but it does have some quirks.  I might try creating one in Illustrator since I have CS4 now.

Had Hitler not decided to fight the Battle of the Bulge, he could have extended the war a few months longer by slowly retreating and making a final stand on German soil.  He had no fear of a nuclear bomb being used on the European mainland.  But we were definitely not ready for a major invasion until 1944.

Why even draft such a letter until it was necessary?  Eisenhower must not have had much faith in Operation Overlord.

Okay I'll try to do the collection thing and see if that is better.  I want to put my thesis sources in one collection and then just leave random books like the Bible out in the documents folder like it is now.

Yeah, I tried it today but for some reason the .png does not render when I put it into the header.

Just rename it to whatever image was there to begin with (in the same folder of course).  For example if your old image is a logo.gif, just rename it to logo.gif and overwrite the old image.  Your theme might have an option to upload a new logo, but it might force you to crop it.  I would just manually replace the old file.
