I don't think we are being told the whole story. Why on God's green earth would you lock down a major U.S. city for one 19 year old kid? It doesn't make sense to me.

We should just do a quiet little preemptive assasination of that little ping pong boy. Problem solved, and only one casualty.
Better yet, we should get China to do it. That way nothing would ever be said.
