ParticipantI think Joyce Appleby has some good survey books out.

ParticipantI guess I'll start moderating the threads that go off track then. I'm so used to letting things go sideways on my forums I didn't realize that it would actually do damage here. I'll be more responsible from here on out.

ParticipantI always respected this man. He was a man of principals and professionalism. He will be sorely missed.
DonaldBaker
ParticipantNo, haven't seen it. Want to, though.
Welcome to the forum jmnixon95! Glad to have you aboard!

ParticipantIs this guy a Chinese Ivkhan or what? 😀
Beginning to look that way.

ParticipantI'm impressed with their work. I'd love to have Adobe flash software to do similar projects. I don't have the money right now to buy it.
DonaldBaker
ParticipantI like that presentation. I wonder what software they used? I know it was flash, but what software did they use to build it?

ParticipantYES YES--I read all this--I was hoping that someone had peered through the keyhole and was able to seea face and thereby get a specific name of the man who was most responsible for letting an assassination in an obscure part of the Balkans grow into the greatest conflict of the century. Apparently my hopes have been dashed so i will throw my name into the next midden heap I pass here in the hinterlands.
How about the Rothchilds, the Rockefellers, and the other banking robber barons who financed both sides of the war? Woodrow Wilson even admitted as much.

ParticipantFDR__My hero--George Bush must have read a biography of his--nah!Kensians to the fore!
Keynesian economics is what prolonged the Great Depression, and is what is going to prolong our current economic recession/mini-depression. Cut taxes across the board, stiffen lending practices, and let the market bottom out so that real recovery can begin.

ParticipantWally!Oh no:Once you graduate from Bureaucrat Manager school you can never again be considered a trustworthyhuman being. I am surprised you did not know this!
I see the wisdom in this.

ParticipantOne thing I will say, our government is completely afraid of the American populace. A paranoid government is a dangerous government, and the more paranoid that government becomes, the more likely it will try to suppress freedoms. Our formerly open society is rapidly closing down.
DonaldBaker
ParticipantI guess this means they are qualified for the Aliyah then.

ParticipantI would like to have one myself. Just to play with and see what the major differences are in terms of advantages and disadvantages. Obviously Apple still has technological innovations to share, so they aren't going anywhere.
DonaldBaker
ParticipantIt won't happen that way. Americans will not take to arms unless the government moves first. If and when that happens, you will see National Guard officers take the lead to stand against the federal forces. Again, this is a doomsday scenario, and the government wouldn't necessarily rely on the 82 Airborne or any other army or marine detachment. They would instead employ the use of NATO troops and mercenaries like Blackwater. These soldiers would have no qualms with firing on American civilians since they are not aligned to our nation.

ParticipantYou will like the 2.0 version of SMF better. The upgrade is very easy. Just download the latest version, upload all the files into your current directories replacing the old ones, and then point your browser to http://www.yourdomain.com/yoursmfdirectory/upgrade.php and the wizard will do the rest. It will take about 15-20 minutes to do depending on how big your database is. You don't really need to backup your files, but it's always a good idea. I didn't, because I'm lazy and I didn't care if some info was lost. The newer version employs ajax in the menus which is cool. I like it.
