Why pardon a killer who killed at least two peace officers( In a jail break). For what purpose? Has to be political.
I was told in a course that I took that Stonewall Jackson wanted to fight under the Black Flag of no quarter but was overruled.
Camp Douglass on the South side of Chicago was much worse than Camp Sumpter( Andersonville) and it was not because of lack of resources. There are three thousand POWs buried in a mass grave thereBTW Scout, did you see the graves outside the walls at Andersonville where the Raiders are buried. The Raiders were outlaw POWs who preyed on the other prisoners. I can't recall if there are five or six. Wirtz allowed the POWs to hold kangaroo court and the prisoners sentenced the Raiders to death and they were hanged and buried outside the wall. It has been a while since I was there ( 50 miles away) but I think they are buried behind the main building as you go in.
I grew up in South Ga with no A/C. I was in my mid thirtys before we had a/c. Hope we never go back to those days.
I knew thatI have a cabin , "Rebel's Retreat", located on a bluff above my pond. On each of the posts of the front porch are Confederate Flags. First National, Second National, Third National and the Naval Jack . I have a Bonnie Blue but did not have another post to display it from. Most folks do not recognise any but the Naval Jack.
Today there was a package and a note found at the motor pool at Ft Benning. The package contained 20 hollow point cartridges and a note saying that if the Ft Hood shooter's charges were not dropped that there will be a reenactment at Ft BenningMeanwhile I have started reading the Koran to see what we are up against. I believe in knowing the enemy.
I think while Major Hasan is hospitalized that he might need some special medical treatment. I think a transfusion of pig blood followed by a bacon grease enema would be appropiate.
I am watching news about the shootings in Fort Hood yesterday and have to say that I am disgusted both by the shootings and the way the news is characterizing it.The excuses for the gunman are already starting, he was harassed, he had secondary PTSD from talking to combat vets, he was fighting his upcoming deployment and frustrated. The news is doing everyhting to paint this as anything but possibly religiously or ideologically motivated. Do people in America really believe that the average Muslim is some cuddly tolerant individual that discounts everything intolerant regarding infidels in the Koran? ??? ??? When are we in the west going to really confront the idea that Islam itself is the problem? It is an intolerant religion whose adherents feel that they are duty bound to impose their religion on the world. the decline of the west continues with this event and the way the media is portraying it.
