War will continue, well past our future. Technolgy may change the ratio of human death to machine destruction, but our seed will still die. And that's about as far as I want to see.

Once again... HUH?? ??? ???
You are repeating yourself. What you is said is already clear to all. Are you a Girl or Boy Scout? And do you have any merit badges?
Any savy military leader will strike supply lines, create havoc, and preserve his strike force. Why did we beat the Brittish? By following the strike and run tactic. Don't commit suicide in red uniforms marching in formation …. I mean, this is a no brainer.
Writing yourself in is fruitless unless you control enough funds to control the elections. Listen to what I just said. No money, forget it. Money buys elective power; the lack of funds insures no power. Political Science 101.Bottom line? You need funds from contributors that ask you do as they say for the money. I thought everyone understood the basic corruption that is government.

Good stuff above, but I have to go with the ancient China men, and Mongols – Ghenghis Kahn (sp?) – their (Chinese) technology is being re-discovered, and areas beneath the sea are pointing at older civilizations in other parts of the world. I probably watch the History Channel too much, but recent archiolgightrwlfgheht discoveries amaze this one, whom cannot even spell archaasirytrtiyingpe. We've so much to learn from civilizations submerged by the rising seas after the last ice cubes melted. We could be next – to be discovered in the distant future, another culture lost, due to stupidity. After the ice melts, when this planet circles closer to the star. Whatever. Stuff happens. While I doubt humanity will become extinct, much depends on our actions now. I will die in 10 or 15 years, so why am I concerned? I am, as are you, of course.Life goes on, unless we obstuct it. On a global scale, humanity is obstructing life on THIS planet.Good luck, Children
Forget religion. Mix the skins. When we are all the same color, nobody can point a finger. The only problem with this concept is nobody will ever forget religion. Thus it can be argued that religion is harmful in its natural configuration becuase it naturally leads to disputes, bloodshed, and so on. But, so do women, so what are we going to do? Survive?
1984? I had a gun then, and if allowed to carry it legally, could have eaten a lot hamburgers for free. Kidding! One armed citizen can make a difference, maybe dying in the process. Any citizen unwilling to bear arms is not a citizen. Any citizen who fails to protect those about him is not a citizen, but a worthless worm, more afraid for himself than others. Harsh words these are, but stand up and fight, or just go throw up in the gutter. Angered by criminals, citizens get more angry, but unless armed, are helples. This will probably get kicked of this forum, also --- but, I advocate the carrying of concealed weapons by trained legal citizens. And this group (trained legal citizens) outweighs outlaws by such a margin that I would say - look outlaw - I have a gun too. This is by far the best and cheapest crime deterent - any idiot that argues otherwise is just that - otherwise.
I think what really angered these folks was that I critized our abiity to rebuild/maintain our infrastucture – such small minds operatoring here, I am still amazed. Better to fix the problem, rather than burying the problem. What ignorant, short sighted, …… tell me to stop. 🙂
War rages all around the world. WW III is here now, but we don't see it, because it kills peoples so far away, it seems unreal to us, and because it is not reported, even inaccurately, in newsprint. The Viet Nam war was televised ad nauseum, but today? Not covered, so, no war. Oh, happy days!No war? Then we don't have to worry about the economy gone straigth to hell - it's not our fault. It can't be war, right? Oil costing more than $100 a barrel. Same reasoning. Lucky we are not at war, or gas would be really expensive. So, let's be sure we don't fight anyone or contribute to foreign war efforts. This will pull everything back together, and repair our economy.I want everyone reading this to insert a $100 bill into an envelope, and post it to me. I guaranty that you be out $100, but I won't give you an address - I am not a total idiot - but I want to make a point here. Stand up and fight, or lay down and die. Your choice.World War III? Send me your money. You think I'm kidding? They are not asking any more, they are stealing from you with clever electronic gizmos. Without your permission, and our defenses are so weak, we are fat lambs waiting for shearer, then .... the butcher.
I think your classic wars, Alexander, Rome, Napoleon, Hundred Years War, American Civil War, etc were standard warfare. Though I'm sure some form of guerilla tactics did occur. Now the Welsh against Edward I used guerilla warfare and prevented the English from moving into the interior of Wales for some time. My question would be who has used guerilla warfare most successfully and when was the earliest use of it?
I'd have to say the Native North Amerian against European invaders. Earlier examples might include Native Africans defending their families from slavers. But I am certain history will demonstrate earlier examples of so called "guerrilla" tactics, which is the only tactically intelligent way to go against superior arms/numbers.Native Americans may have been outnumbered locally, but they certainly were not stupid.
