Prussian history…now that is interesting.
If you get a chance, you should read the book “Wyatt Earp: Frontier Marshal” written by Stuart Lake in 1929 the year of Earp's death. Lake has some really good interviews with him and you get a point of view from Earp as he saw things during that time.
Hi there,The women's rights and abolition movements seemed to be joined at the hip and then separated later on. Once the black men received the right to vote, or rather, the Constitution prevented hindering their vote, then all the sudden there wasn't as much support from free black men for women's rights. Anyone agree?Think about how women's rights and civil rights for blacks have gone hand-in-hand over the years. Throughout American history, the two have been somewhat joined. It just seems that later on the civil rights movement didn't like women tying in to their cause because it took away from theirs.
Oh this is really helpful because it's such a broad area–the middle ages that is–it's hard to narrow it down.
