You know what I realize – there really aren't that many Civil War movies out there, and there are even fewer American Revolution movies.  Meanwhile, there are plenty of Vietnam and WWII movies.  I think that the farther back in history we go, the less depiction there is, even though some of these prior events had more direct impact on our lives now.

If you want a good Rev war movie I suggest “The patriot” with Mel Gibson it is an excellent moive

This is rather a simplistic answer, tactics were changed out of necessity, due to the invention of more accurate weapons. During the American war between the states both sides still used what were called Napoleonic tactics or Napoleonic box. Whole Company's form a box able to lay down volley fire, this is fine if your weapons are inaccurate, add artillery, automatic weapons, and you had better disperse

Interesting, I always thought that the bubonic plague was transmitted through fleas that fed on infected rats, and not through direct human contact. The peumonic plague however is spread through direct human contact. Is there a doctor in the house?

Did Roosevelt know in advance that the Japs were going to attack Pearl Harbor, and did he let them just to get the U.S into the war?

One of favorite story's of Eddie Rickenbacker was told by Charles H. Mcdonald a WWII fighter ace in the pacific theater. Rickenbacker was touring his base for some reason I have forgotten and McDonald asked him to join them on a fighter sweep. He accepted the offer and went up with them but kept falling behind. McDonald went back to check on him and discovered the reason, at which point he got on the radio and said hey rookie raise your landing gear

In my humble opinion, I would have to say the best allied plane would have to be the P-47 thunderbolt. The P-47 had excellent range, altitude, and armmament ( to the tune of 8 .50 caliber browning machine guns ) it was an excellent weapons platform. The P-47 could be outfitted for either ground attack roles or as a fighter for bomber support, or fighter sorties it was lethal in either role.
