It's an embedded link in the message. Click your mouse over the underlined part in Scout's post that says "bodies of two more soldiers from WWI."

ModeratorLet's not forget China's lax environmental policies. Look at the pollution of some of their rivers. It's pretty bad. Remember the smog before the Beijing olympics? A nation won't last too long in power if the people can no longer drink the water…or breathe.

ModeratorFeds Try to Close the OCEAN Because of ShutdownArticle titles like this really get on my nerves!! Not once is mentioned in this article nor the linked article to National Review that Florida Bay is part of Everglades National Park. The Right is being incorrectly attacked for this shutdown all over the pace. Poorly titled and written articles like this don't help the cause. I should submit a sample of how this article should have been written. I can still attack Obama, Reid, and the Left but use facts rather than sensationalism and false propaganda. You'll need more Coast Guard and Harbor Masters out there to enforce this... that alone proves that Obama's and the Democrats' policies lack anything that remotely resembles common sense.

ModeratorWhat I've learned so far: It's not a British policy at all (always assumed it was). The political party who started all this was in fact anti-British.

ModeratorI consider an invasion is like what Germany did to Belgium or Frnace or the US in Iraq and Afghanistan. Blocking ports and bombing a few coastal cities in China is a skirmish.

ModeratorI don't know if this is happening in all states, but someone from the RI Dept of Health keeps calling to ask some questions about health care. I don't answer when I see the number so the message they leave is that this is something I have to answer. If I ever do pickup the phone when they call, I won't answer the questions other than saying “I'm all set with the health coverage I get at work. Goodbye”

ModeratorYes, based on what I think is the definition of prehistoric.

ModeratorWhen we (historians) talk about the history of America, where do we start? It's usually around the 15th century because we have no written record before that. Most Native Americans didn't keep any (probably because most of them were so nomadic, but that's another topic). Perhaps Central and South America are a bit before that because the Mayans and Incans have a written and/or detailed archeaological record. So yes, if that canoe is before the 15th century, then it is prehistoric.
