ModeratorCOIN lost me when I kept reading Generals other leaders complaining that this strategy puts foreign civilian lives above our own Soldiers' lives.

ModeratorYou're correct, but I think at this point it's going to take something drastic to wake people up. I wonder how many people in NY and NJ still without electricity are liking the president right now. Is the media covering it up? I was thinking about it today. Where's the Federal Gov't? FEMA took a day off becaue of teh weather (what?!?!) Why isn't the Army Corp of Eng installing power to these major urban areas? They say this hurricane helped Obama. If this was Bush, he'd be skewered. I'm just afraid this drastic thing needed to wake people up will be economic in nature. I'm very concerned with my finances and job right now as many of us are. I'm totally angry at Obama voters for electing someone who made it this way and whose policies will make it worse. My 24 yr old daughter voted for Romney, yet many of her friends voted for Obama because he was really cool with Jay Z or whatever. I mentioned to some of her Obama supporting friends today that they should start saving money because gas and food prices are going to get higher. Then I told them why. Wish I saw them before the election. :-

ModeratorI think every Republican in Congress should just resign. Let the Democrats run the show and have their way. Would that matter, though? They'll still blame Republicans and the idiots in this country will still believe them. I'm really beginning to believe there is only one option left - civil war.

ModeratorHe sucks. Good riddance to him and his “the holy koran.” He reminds me of a Neville Chamberlain. They should have just kept him in Iraq. COIN is a failure in Afghanistan. Where are all the Generals who have the guts to drop nuclear bombs? That's what we need.

ModeratorSo the author argues that all the welfare expansion under the left, and the steep rise in it over the past few years, is actually going to cause the demise of the left's plan. I hope that is true.
Yes, but until that happens, until people realize this and admit their mistakes, it will be too late because every single one of us will be affected.

ModeratorThe Romney being rich thing. I don't get that. All these “educated”, VERY rich, Brown Univ lefties voted for Obama. Did they even think how much that is going to hurt this middle class blue collar Republican? Idiots. Perhaps I should go to Starbucks and ask all the Brown liberals for donations to heat my home this winter. I am so infuriated at these morons. I refuse to be civil to them. I'm going to be a sarcastic a$$ to every one of them I see or hear praising Obama. Maybe dear leader's imaginary green energy unicorns will crap directly in my furnace.

ModeratorYup, and that's quite depressing. Stupid stupid people.

ModeratorBecause they have become almost as bad as the Left in telling us how and what to think. The difference between the Right and the Left is that the Right isn't as much about group-think. We're individuals. We can disagree on things and still be a Conservative Republican. (for instance, my pro-amnesty stance is Conservative IMO. It's about the law, tax revenue and accountability)

ModeratorBeen hearing all these calls to boycott MSNBC, turn off your cable, etc. Instead of doing that, let's boycott these kind of Republicans instead.http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2956767/postsSome of the replies are acceptable, but most agree with the OP. This is just wrong and idiotic and it's an embarrassment to me to be associated with them in the same party. Personally, I'm going to boycott Rove, Coulter, Hannity, Steyn, Rush, etc. not because they "gave" us Romney, but because they are not Republicans and certainly not Conservative. We need to stop listening to these clowns. I haven't for a few years now. I guarantee you they will either push Christie or Jeb Bush on us for 2016. If and only if they support Paul Ryan as a candidate, then maybe I'll listen to what they have to say again.

ModeratorRomney is not weak, he's a moderate. The country even rejected a moderate Republican. A true Conservative would have been trounced worse. It's not Romney's fault, it's the people of this country. In reading some pre-election Leftwing commentary about Benghazi it was clear they didn't care about it. That was no big deal to the Left. So even if Romney attacked (which he did), it only matterer to those of us who cared...which apparently and unfortunately isn't too many of us.

ModeratorI told you guys that Mitt Romney was a weak candidate. He never could sustain any momentum and Obama could say whatever he wanted and nothing boomeranged on him.
And you're blaming Romney for this and not the MSM?? Romney was not a weak candidate. The MSM won another election. This country is doomed. RIers are idiots. The morons in MA elected the psycho woman. Support the troops folks. They're going to need it now more than ever before. And let's hope for a warm winter for those of us who heat our homes with oil or gas.I am so disgusted, and for the first time in my life I am ashamed of my country.

ModeratorMessed up hair, unshaven. I was a barbarian going in to attack the current regime.

ModeratorIf anyone's watching FOX now, Romney is making an awesome speech in Colorado. He often mentioned how he created sucessful businesses and got the SLC Olympics on course. Wish he was saying this stuff all along. His best line so far was saying he's not just going to take office, he's going to take responsibility for that office. So many digs at Obama without mentioning his name.

ModeratorCNN just did it too. They “explained” that the higher unemployment is good because it means more people are looking for jobs. WHAT?!?!?!? THIS IS INSANITY!!!
