I don't trust Rove nor his analysis. I go by just talking to or listening to people in everyday life. 90% of them are brainwashed by the MSM. A common theme is “I don't really like Obama, but Romney is too rich to understand my problems”Pathetic
skiguyModeratorI'm kind of thinking that too. Not because of the MSM polls (which are all crap) but because the class warfare rhetoric seems to be working. Just can't believe how stupid the general electorate is to believe all this garbage being spewed by ABCCBSNBC. It seems no one can think for themselves anymore. We are truly a nation of dumbed-down sheep. I also predict crazy Liz Warren will beat Scott Brown and the Senate will remain Democrat. She's an idiot, but her class warfare speeches are incredibly effective to the dumb, blind, close-minded Boston liberals. It's sad, but not unexpected when society rejects God and biblical truths like this. I pray for my granddaughter.
skiguyModeratorNot only. Anthropologists study cultures and how they lived. Archaeologists dig up stuff and leave the interpretation to the historians (or should). Anthropologists act like god and attempt to tell us how a certain people lived.

skiguyModeratorAren't you talking about anthropology now?

September 26, 2012 at 10:20 am in reply to: What is the relationship between technology and victory? #27405skiguyModeratorhistory shows that a superior ship or line of ships almost always win.
No it doesn't. There are many examples of the British beating the superior and larger French ships.
skiguyModeratorKind if surprised a military historian wouldn't like archaeology. They are the ones who can find out stuff like what direction the attackers came, where the first shots or arrows were fired, etc. Saw a special on BBC about this. They were showing the defensive capabilities of early medieval fortifications, and archaeologists were able to determine who were the first victims when the forts got attacked. I thought that was pretty cool.
skiguyModeratorAn American soldier killed by a bomb in Afghanistan sent an email to his Congressman weeks earlier stating that he and his men were being placed in 'unnecessary danger'.This is unacceptable. Meanwhile, Obama is on The View. What an absolutely disgusting person he is. Anyone who votes for him is either an idiot or racist.
skiguyModeratorI like computers, but I would probably fall asleep in every class.
skiguyModeratorEven the Queen is tougher than Obama.
skiguyModeratorYeah, me too.
skiguyModeratorIt worked in Iraq (until we left). It will never work in Afghanistan. Way too many factions..political, religious, geographic, etc.Still think taking Iran out of the picture will help things a lot.
skiguyModeratorI use to be a proponent of COIN. Not so much anymore, especially in Islamic nations.
